Maiden Lake Boat Parade

ORIGINALLY STARTED IN 1961

This is a great family event for anyone to join. There are two themes each year, one theme is picked at the fall meeting, and the other is always “Patriotic” or what most call “Red, White and Blue”.

We have four judges located around the lake, each marked with signs. There are three categories that are judged.

1. Best Boat for each theme

2. Most Enthusiastic

3. Best Bribe

The parade is at 7:00 PM on the closest Saturday to the 4th of July.

STARTING POINT

Boats meet in front of the Maiden Lake Supper club at approx. 6:50 pm.

Once the lead boat starts at 7:00 PM everyone follows in line for one full lap.

·         Put your house number or name on each front side of the boat, judges use this to identify you.

·         Follow in single file, keep pace with the boat ahead.
